Personality
Nate was a polymath, which was accompanied by an inflated ego and sharp tongue: he liked to praise himself for his works, and often mocks others for their comparatively lower intelligence. He often relies on his own skills to solve problems and never expects sudden assistance from others, so when it happens, he tends to either be surprised or turns them down. Also, he could be easily caught off guard when he accomplished anything or witnessed something unexpected and new which excites him, because of his reliance on his intellect. In this state, he was vulnerable to any surprise attacks. Perhaps Nate's greatest and most well-known trait was his sense of justice. His selflessness and sense of duty causes him to try and shoulder the burden alone rather than involve others, whether he could carry that burden or not. This altruism intensified the guilt he feel for the people he failed to save. While generally calm and composed, he was prone to making poor judgement during emotional turmoil.

Nate was fan of many different movies, TV shows and songs, and made frequent references to them, including ones that haven't being release or didn't exist yet. He didn't like being called a "geek" or a "nerd", but did like being called "cool". He was a foodie, having a fondness for many types of food and drink, his favourite drink was banana milkshake. He relied heavily upon his sonic screwdriver. When doing math calculations, he would often jot them down on hard surfaces with a marker pen on board or on an outside wall, despite the fact that it was vandalise to the annoying others. Although, he could sometimes do this in his head very quickly. When in deep contemplation, Nate would meditate on the matter at hand, though, if he found the subject unsettling, he would try to avoid the mediation completely.

He was a skilled pilot, on a few occasions able to take control and navigate the Doctor's TARDIS through and out of danger. He could also ride a horse, and drive a car and an anti-gravity motorbike. He was an exceptionally skilled detective, deducing when people had been possessed or replaced, picking up on clues that escaped others perception, figuring out how to defeat his opponents from little details they gave away or from his surroundings, and learning the details of a person after getting a brief glimpse at them. With his height and build, he was extremely agility on his feet, keeping ahead of significantly faster opponents with ease. He had a universal translator via his telepathic abilities that allowed him to speak and understand any language. Nate was a skilled singer and could play the electric guitar. Nate was a skilled Telepathy, being able to put others to sleep by placing his index finger on their forehead and hiding his thoughts from those who could read minds. He could perform Hypnosis, and utilise telekinesis and precognition. His irises turned green when using his mental powers and through anger, but also at will. He had amazing physical strength, being able to lift a grown man in one hand. He also had the ability to spontaneously regenerate any tissue in his body, allowing him to recover from almost any injury within seconds to minutes. The Doctor remarked that he wouldn't be able to kill him even if he wanted to and that he will never die, he even survived decapitation and incineration. In addition to simple healing, he had been shown to regenerate at least small extremities and regrow limbs. He could also heal others by injecting his blood into them, even if they were dead for a while, with no apparent ill-effects. However his injected blood cannot cure tumors; his rapid cell reproduction would actually accelerate a tumor's growth due to it being living tissue. He also didn't need an immune system, as his body never needed to build up any resistance, although this meant he would easily fall ill without it. He revealed that he couldn't become intoxicated and points out that it extends to internal organs like his liver. He has an incredibly high pain tolerance; he states that, when injured, he feels pain just as severe as anyone else who was injured in such a way, but its quickly deadens the pain. He also had a sixth sense vision that allows him to instinctively sense how people and objects relate to them.

He could spontaneously regenerate any tissue in his body, allowing him to recover from any injury, even able to regrow entire lost anatomy. After the Doctor studied him, he remarked that he couldn't kill him even if he wanted to and that he will never die. He had survived nuclear explosions. Minor injuries, like bullet wounds and broken bones, take mere minutes to recover. While full dismemberment takes hours to restore. Even more, his regenerative abilities leave him immune to physical age, death, illness, diseases and contaminate.

Nathaniel "Nate" Grant was a human turned interdimensional being from a parallel universe that was the best friend, a companion and an associate of the Doctor.

Appearance

Nate had light brown eyes and dark brown hair, he was described by number of males and females as being very attractive. He was also 5'7" tall and weighed around 132lbs.

Clothing

Main attires

He initially donned a navy blue overcoat, a white shirt with a pointing collar, charcoal trousers and black shoes. Occasionally, he would replace his navy blue overcoat to a white lab coat or the Sixth Doctor's coat, as well as replace his charcoal trousers to midnight blue or steel blue.

Though his overcoat remained a constant staple of his appearance, he would wear them in a variety of colours, with colours coming in midnight blue, steel blue and charcoal.

During the Last Great Time War, he wore a navy blue military coat with gold trim and buttons, a black shirt with a pointing collar, a Dalek enhanced Tommy Gun on his back across his left shoulder, black gloves and black combat boots with gold trim.

After the Last Great Time War, he replaced his white shirt with an ivory T-shirt and a pair of baggy plaid trousers, either in a navy blue design with a white plaid pattern, a navy blue tartan pattern with crimson stripes, charcoal or rainbow, as well as don a zip up hoodie under his overcoat, with colours ranging in navy blue, midnight blue, steel blue, charcoal and rainbow. His footwear choices were trainers with variety of colours ranging from navy blue, midnight blue, steel blue, charcoal and rainbow.

Other costumes

Nate would often sleep in a pair of pyjamas and sometimes worn a dressing gown. While visiting cold environments, he often wore an atmospheric density jacket and gloves.

For certain formal occasions, he would also don a navy blue brocade cravat tie with an ivory shirt, double-breasted frock coat of ebony black moleskin and black brogue boots or a white shirt with a black bow tie and a black tuxedo suit.

When adventuring into Earth's past, he would make changes to his wardrobe so as to blend in with the local population.

In the 19th and early 20th century, he donned a midnight blue tweed overcoat with a dark tan overcheck, an ivory shirt under a black waistcoat and a charcoal cravat tie. He also carried a fob watch on the waistcoat. Occasionally, he would replace his midnight blue tweed coat to black, charcoal or navy blue, as well as replace his charcoal cravat tie to black, midnight blue or a navy blue tie, his ivory shirt to a dress shirt with a pointing collar and his black waistcoat to navy blue, charcoal or midnight blue.

Nate also changed his clothes using hologram projectors:

 • In 1870 Mercy, he worn a midnight blue duster coat, an ivory shirt under a black waistcoat, a black neckerchief and a Stetson hat. He wore the same attire again whilst in 1880 Tombstone.
 • During an adventure in World War I, he wore a military trenchcoat to fit in with the British soldiers.
 • During his time in 1929 Chicago, he donned a midnight blue striped suit and fedora. He wore the same attire again on two occasions whilst in 1930s New York City.
 • In 1940s Nazi Germany and Paris, he worn a SS uniform.
 • In 1952 Hollywood, he donned a white shirt with a black bow tie and a white tuxedo suit.
 • In ancient Rome and Pompeii, he donned a grey or blue ionic chiton.
 • When the First Doctor was placed on trial in 1963 London as a result of killing a werewolf with a silver bullet, he dressed in an ill-fitting midnight blue suit.
 • On an unnamed planet, he briefly wore a greatcoat to escape from the War Lord's central headquarters.

As a student at Farringham School for Boys in 1913, he initially donned a black blazer, a black tie, a white button-up shirt with the collar pointed up, a pair of black trousers and black shoes.

As a student at Coal Hill School in 1963, he initially donned a black and emerald green tie, a white button-up shirt with cherry question marks embroidered on the collar, a grey jumper with a red and gold badge that read "COAL HILL SCHOOL", a pair of grey trousers and black shoes.

While confronting the Sontarans in 1985 Seville, Spain, he removed his overcoat and left his shirt unbuttoned. He wore the same attire again whilst on Galápagos Islands in 1835.

Post-4590 on Necros, he briefly replaced his navy blue overcoat to an eloquent royal blue coat with gold trim as a sign of mourning for the death of Professor Arthur Stengos.

After the Doctor's death in Donna's World, he replaced his entire outfit to a midnight blue trenchcoat, a white button-up shirt with cherry question marks embroidered on the collar, a loose fitting navy blue tartan waistcoat, matching trousers and Converse shoes. Occasionally, he would replace his midnight blue trenchcoat to a white lab coat, the Sixth Doctor's coat or a navy blue Crombie coat with crimson lining and a midnight blue cardigan.

Psychological profile

Habits and quirks

Skills and abilities

Nate had outstanding levels of sharp intellect and exceptionally fast and adaptive strategical abilities that has allowed him to successfully oppose and defeat many of the darkest and most cunning masterminds in secret. He was skilled at mechanics, being able to construct a variant of gadgets and devices from scrap and other items he had on hand, and also skilled with computers. He was even able to build a tesla gun, Jeeves, the Men in Black and K9 Mark X.

He was a skilled telepath, being able to put others to sleep by placing his index finger on their forehead and hiding his thoughts from those who could read minds. He could perform psychic link, mind control, and utilized telekinesis, pyrokinesis, psychic projection, astral projection, clairvoyance, psychometry, empathy, precognition, reality warping, fate manipulation and atom manipulation. He was a time sensitive and had amazing physical strength, being able to lift a grown man in one hand.

He had excellent physical condition and an expert in various firearms as well as throw and catch objects with pinpoint accuracy. He had an incredibly high pain tolerance; he states that, when injured, he feels pain just as severe as anyone else who was injured in such a way, but its quickly deadens the pain.

He had a sixth sense vision that allows him to instinctively sense how people and objects relate to them. He was also skilled with a sword, choosing it as his weapon of choice if he had to fight. He also had extremely fast reflexes. He was also a skilled martial arts in Venusian aikido, Tarovian martial arts, Martian karate, Mercurian kung fu, Saturnian kung-fu and Amtorian jiu-jitsu, capable of taking out several trained soldiers and bodyguards with little assistance.

He was able to sing "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" and "War". He could use escapology to pinpoint a weak point in his restraints and find the best place to stain against to enable his liberation.

Romantic interests

Nate was gay and had numerous to uncountable relationships through the hundreds of years he was alive. He had many lovers of the same sex and of numerous species, such as the Doctor, George Gordon Byron, Jack Harkness, Norton Folgate, Alejandro, Alan Turing, Adric, Chris Cwej, Fitz Kreiner, Freddie Mercury, William Shakespeare, Pickens, Christopher Isherwood, Idris Hopper, Alonso Frame, Luke Sullieman, Lucius, Damian, Tyler Steele and Hasan.
